LHS At The Final Competition At The 22nd Annual Tennessee Valley Marching Invitational
Congratulations to the Loretto High School Band! This past weekend Saturday, October 18, 2014, they performed in their final competition at the 22nd Annual Tennessee Valley Marching Invitational in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
Drum Major Emily Randolph received a superior rating, the Band finished 4th place in Class A, the Percussion finished 3rd place in Class A and the Color Guard 1st place in Class A.
The Loretto High School Color Guard was undefeated this season finishing in 1st place at EVERY contest.
French Horn soloist Hannah Graves was named Most Outstanding soloist in Class A.
The band is directed by Darrell Boston, assisted by Veronica Troup and guard instructor Kalee Richardson.
Band director Darrell Boston stated, “Words just can’t express how proud I am of all these band members and their hard work. I am so proud to be their band director. I would also like to say a huge thank you to the parents and grandparents for their hard work and continued support. Thank you to the administration and our community for their support of our band and music education. We could not do all we do without the help and support of so many.”
